SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Are you part of a community group interested in learning more about a reflective approach in working with parents and children? Center for Reflective Communities provides speakers for groups and organizations such as schools, community centers, after school programs, camps, parent-teacher organizations, community volunteers and child activity centers. Some examples of speaking engagements could include:
- General presentation about reflective thinking and its value for your setting or group.
- Presentations that provide an in-depth understanding of how to use a mindful and reflective approach.
- Workshop series providing training tailored to your setting, in the application of a reflective approach.
- Presentations on specific topics such as: resiliency, parental stress, communication, attachment. discipline, conflict, adolescence, special needs, etc…
IN-SERVICE TRAINING and WORKSHOPS
Reflective thinking is an adaptable approach. Not only is the tool itself inherently flexible, the Center for Reflective Parenting likewise offers a variety of training programs and opportunities to meet a range of professional and staff needs. Beyond teaching the concepts, these workshops are designed to more actively engage participants in using reflective approaches when dealing with children of all ages and their families.
